Therapy options in Breast CancerA diagnosis of Breast Cancer can be overwhelming. But one thing you can do to get some sense of control is to learn about all the treatment options available. Discuss each of them with your doctor. And be sure to ask if oral chemotherapy is an option for you.

Here are some questions to ask yourself and your doctor:
  • Is oral chemotherapy an option for my condition?
  • Do I want to take more control over my therapy?
  • Am I willing to actively participate in monitoring my chemotherapy side effects while taking oral chemotherapy?
  • Will I make every effort to comply with my physician's orders in taking my therapy?
  • What if I have difficulty in swallowing tablets or capsules?
